Shakespeare in the Park

What is Shakespeare in the Park?

Simply put, Shakespeare in the Park is just what it sounds like: a Shakespeare play acted live on an outdoor stage in a park!

This play will feel just like being inside of a theater: a full stage, lights, amplified sound, costumes, and a beautiful set!

Located in Whittier, CA, Shakespeare in the Park is a new event proudly produced by Whittier Shakes Theater Company, an up and coming theater located in the heart of Whittier.

Is Shakespeare for me?

Shakespeare in the Park is for everyone! Unlike those times in the past when we all struggled with reading Shakespeare’s classics in high school English, this experience will make Shakespeare accessible, hilarious, and generally fun. Even if you have your doubts… it’s our job to win you over. In fact, the more people that come, the better it is!
